We would like to congratulate both Missy and Hannah on their completion of challenging Further Studies based at the College.
Missy has recently completed her Certificate 3 in Education Support. She has studied very hard and steadily over the past year while also working at the College as an Integration Aide. When asked what was the hardest thing she said “Returning to study was a big challenge. Being in the classroom helped a great deal to make the learning relevant.”
She was also asked what she enjoyed about the College? Missy replied, “Everything! I love working with the little ones and even hate having a sick day.” Missy is not taking a rest and has enrolled in the Cert 4
program in Education Support and is looking forward to using all the skills she has learnt.
Hannah has also completed a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care. Hannah she said “The best part was the practical aspect, setting up experiences in the Kindergarten, while the hardest thing was finding time to study. The challenge has been finding the work/life balance.”
Hannah has been doing a wonderful job working in the Kindergarten and is looking forward to continuing to both study and work with our youngest learners.
